Meet Dianne
She is a trellis-like friend to lean on or sit as you cry.
She is one to hug your soul and lift your face up high.
She is one to walk beside you, sort of like a guide
In the rhythm of the gardens, with her, you can confide.
I had hoped . . . i see you there ~ searching for something more, seeking hope in a barren and dry place of life. Like me, Have you fallen? I’m a down-to-earth kind of gal who has weathered droughts of the heart to a downpour of tears, to dreams dashed and hope was like a vapor in the wind.
But I have also experienced comfort, joy, and peace in the upward drift of life lessons learned in the Gardens of heart. Inching through the dirt and ash heap of hardship, I discovered riches untold beyond the brier wall that was stacking up around my heart.
It was here I found a particularly peculiar Soil where I found such Promises unimaginable. Curious, I sought them out more and more and took them as my own. I nurtured those little seedlings of truth, planted them deep within, and let them grow. And grew they did. Blossoms of Joy began to emerge like yellow stream from the Heavenlies.
Where once thistles and briers were edging in, new life sprang up into a beauty never known. This newness uprooted the rot of stinkin’ thinkin’ and flipped the script to words more becoming the real me. They say nature mirrors hope and I found this to be true. In the gardens and all of creation, I found Truth and was grounded in it.
Glimpses of His Glory are evident every day through all creation:
You can find me swooning at the moon up above, or dancing in the rhythm of the early morning stargaze or watching the sunrise as it awakens the earth with kisses of yellow bright. Sometimes, you’ll find me seeking sanctuary in stillness in the woodlands as the flowers nod with a song as the fresh wind blows. I gasp at the glories of the mountains vast, and an ocean wide and deep. As God’s Word reveals, He speaks through all creation. And that creation includes finding my heart content and thankful with our family and the seven grands runnin’ about with gusts of giggles or cries of need.
All of these things have brought me to a place of being a harbinger of change; to sow Truth so that others may know the mysteries experienced in the Garden of Life, things seen and unseen.
Lean into this quote by Sandra King, “The tiny seed knew that in order to grow, it needed to be dropped in their dirt, covered in darkness and struggle to reach the light.” The journey of tending the soil of my own soul has lead me to where I am now. It has led me to you. Even if you feel hopeless or stuck or no good can come from you, I’ve got a delivery of Good News for you! All things can be made new but maybe not as you had first thought.
As it was for me, is it for you now? “And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” — Anais Nin
Come Bloomer Girl. Let’s blossom like an unfolding rose.
It began in the Four Fold Promises of The Passover rooted in Exodus 6:6-8:
I will bring you out . . .
I will deliver you . . .
I will redeem you . . .
I will take you for MySelf.
It was in this place of promise that I found, I am more me when I have been with Him.
This is where the Garden to Grace: The Path to God’s Comfort, Joy and Peace was born: in my heart. Let me tell ya, by the grace of God, I am what I am, and his grace had great effect on me; it was with me and I was forever changed. (1 Corinthians 15:10)
How I Work
I LISTEN . . .
With compassion and passion
To words spoken by the lips, and the unspoken words of the heart.
To the whispers of The Spirit guiding me
I SEE . . .
Through a lens of redeeming love
Through all things being made new.
Through a Story that transforms the life more than we dare imagine
I WALK . . .
In the hope set before me
In remembering Whom I have believed
In sowing seeds that transcend what the human eye can see or do
For you, I will…
Embrace you as you are and where you are.
Tend to your body, mind, heart and soul.
Help you to know, that there is a redeeming story in every life experience.
To blossom in the unasked for opportunities of life.
Guide you on the path to Truth that restores ground seemingly lost.
To learn stillness and receive His merciful embrace.
Teach you how to bloom with hope, love big and be fragrant and gracious with my words.
Come, shake the dust off. You belong here.
It is my desire to come alongside you as you weather the seasons in your life so that you will come to know it for yourself. Through the plagues of doubt, gnats of troubles, and the emptiness of the feel-it-nots, I will be with you.
Come, create your story with His in view, no matter the matter.
Let’s begin.
